Crampons and Packed

My new crampons, 6 point steel Petzl Charlet. They look quite nice.

Here are my crampons getting a good grip on the floor.

And then they wanted to be silly and rolled over.

Crampon, meet boot. Boot, meet crampon.

Oh look, they are friends now. Yay.

Now I have heel traction! No sliding down icy slopes for me!

And I'm packed and ready to go. Look, you can even see my reflective belt

Packing

My gear, I have my pack, tent, ground pads, stuff sack next to the tent is clothing, stuff sack under the pack is food, pot (holding stove and fuel) extra garbage bag, water filter, rope, tolietries bag, mess kit, hiking poles, crampons, snacks, water bottles, sleeping bag, extra tarp and playpus (which is really a camelback)

Now Stella's gear is added.
